For the first time, Hydro One customers have the choice to switch between time of use and tiered pricing. Vice President of Marketing and Communications Jay Armitage says it’s an easy change to make online.
No action is needed if Hydro One customers want to stay on time of use pricing. Armitage says some customers will benefit from making the change and they have a calculator available on their website to determine what works best for you.
Armitage says Hydro One customers can make the change today online and will see the new price structure on the November bill.
She adds customers can change between time of use and tiered pricing any time throughout the year. Armitage says a pricing plan that works during the pandemic, might not work in the future.
