Due to recent surges in COVID-19 cases a popular summer spot in the City of Kingston is now closed.
In a release from the City of Kingston, Breakwater Park and the Gord Downie Pier have been closed to help slow the spread of COVID and the Variants of Concern.
According to City officials the closure is due to concerns with the lack of adherence to physically distance in large groups and also to protect the health of the community.
