Napanee Mayor Marg Isbester will not be running in the upcoming municipal election.
myFM spoke with Isbester, who’d been part of municipal government for 12 years.
When asked for a message for the next council, Isbester had a few messages to share. She encourages those running to not run with only one agenda, on something that has happened that they don’t like. She says it has to be for an all encompassing reason. Another point is being willing to work with people. She says 90% of the job is helping people find the information they are looking for.
Isbester told us a bit about what she will now get up to during her second retirement.
