The Napanee Salvation Army is very thankful to those who donated this year to their Kettle Campaign.
myFM spoke with Abby Mills, Salvation Army Director of Community Ministries, who provided us with an update.
Total numbers for this year are not quite in yet, as the final totals from online donations and mail-in donations are still being tallied.
Looking back on 2022, it was a year of transition for the Salvation Army, who sold their church location and moved to 81 Dairy Avenue, Napanee.
Looking ahead, Mills says they are looking forward to offering programs how they traditionally have, in-person and face-to-face.
Coming soon is a program that the Salvation Army has altered.
With programming returning and the need at the foodbank being so high, they are in need of volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering can call or text volunteer coordinator Paul Mackay at 613-888-4426.
Mills shared with us a thank-you message to the community, who the Salvation Army is so grateful for, for continuing to support them.
