Collins Bay Institution and Henry Traill Community Correctional Centre were closed to the public Friday after a shooting took place. They will remain closed to the public until further notice.
Kingston Police is currently investigating the shooting in the area of Bath Road and Centennial Drive on Friday at approximately 11:57 a.m.
Police are looking to hear from anyone who may have dash cam or video footage in the area of Bath Road both east and west of Centennial Drive as well as the area of Centennial Drive north of Bath Road.

The suspect vehicle is described as a grey Honda Civic and was occupied by several armed black males last seen fleeing from the scene travelling northbound on Centennial Dr from Bath Rd.
Police believe that this was a targeted incident and are appreciative of any assistance that the community is able to provide.
