Chinlock Wrestling is hosting its first event in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory this Saturday, Sept. 16.
myFM spoke with Jan Murphy who tells us they are a Kingston-based professional wrestling promotion that raises money for charitable causes. The first event they held was in 2014.
Murphy told us more about who will be in attendance for the legends of wrestling meet and greet and live pro wrestling show.
The events will take place at Cigar Chief, 303 Airport Rd., and the Karonhiakta’kie Sports Complex’s Lacrosse Box at 1935 York Rd., in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. The meet and greet takes place at Cigar Chief, beginning at 9 a.m., while the wrestling show happens at the lacrosse box, with a 3 p.m. start time.
Money raised will be staying local and supporting various projects.
