The Napanee Raiders didn’t let the snow storms this weekend stop them from collecting two more wins!
Saturday, January 13th the Raiders made to trip to Campbellford to play the still winless Rebels. Napanee beat Campbellford 5-0 thanks to goals by Luke Jarmin, Michael Patrick, Spencer Cranley, and two from Cameron Krupa.
Sunday, January 14th the Raiders hit the road again, this time to Frankford. Napanee led 1-0 after the first with a goal by Ben White. Early in the second Frankford would tie the game, but Christos Chronis would score for the Raiders to take the lead again. To secure their win, Chronis and Ben Chubbs would both score in the third for a 4-1 Raiders win.\
The Napanee Raiders are sitting in fourth place in the East Tod Division standings with a 19-11-0-1 record and 37 points. They sit behind Frankford (22-6-4-0), Port Hope (19-10-3-1) and Amherstview (20-11-0-0). Followed by Picton (12-17-1-1) and Campbellford (0-27-1-1).
The Raiders return to action Thursday, January 18 away in Picton. Puck drop at 7:30pm. They’re then home Friday, January 19 against Port Hope. Puck drop at 7:30pm.
