Loyalist Township has announced that Kent Readman has been hired as the new Director of Emergency Services and Fire Chief, starting February 26.
He replaces the recently retired Fred Stephenson.
Readman comes from serving as Fire Chief in Huron East and North Huron, bringing over 20 years of emergency services experience. Readman is eager to join the Loyalist Township Emergency Services team, expressing gratitude for the opportunity.
Mike Greenham will also join as Deputy Fire Chief starting February 12, 2024. With over 19 years in the Loyalist Township team, Greenham has been integral in community outreach programs and brings valuable experience from his current role and work with the Correctional Service of Canada.
