The Lennox and Addington OPP have arrested a man and recovered a stolen vehicle.
On Monday morning just after 7:00 a.m., L&A OPP officers received a report from the York Regional Police about a stolen vehicle. They spotted the vehicle on Highway 401 eastbound at Marysville Road.
Confirming it was the stolen vehicle, officers tried to pull it over. When it didn’t stop, officers used a spike belt to safely bring it to a stop past the Old Wilton Road overpass.
31-year-old Brandon Farrow-Loiselle from Ottawa was arrested without incident.
He’s been charged with possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000 and operation while prohibited.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in Court in Greater Napanee on a later date.
