We’re just a few short days away from the 191st Napanee Fair! This year’s fair is set to have something for everyone.
Carol McKinley, Lennox Agriculture Society (LAS) President, shared with myFM that her fellow LAS members are all very excited for this weekend.
This being a full agricultural fair, they bring awareness to the community through different things like exhibits on hay and grain, poultry, and so much more.
Some returning events include the truck and tractor pull, horse show, and the demolition derby to end the fair Monday.
McKinley shared some details on what’s new this year.
World’s Finest Shows is back this year with their fun midway rides. McKinley says all-day ride bracelets are available in advance.
This will be the first fair since the LAS Community Centre was burnt down last fall. McKinley says in their 191-year history they’ve run the fair before without the use of this building and they’ll do it again. We asked McKinley what the future holds for the site.
The Napanee Fair runs august 2-5 at the Napanee Fairgrounds. You can find a full schedule of events on the fair’s website.
