Picture Perfect Landscaping Quinte Ltd. is generously donating services to upgrade South Potter’s Creek Conservation Area. Planned maintenance will take place from November 4th to 8th, during which the area will be temporarily closed to the public. Closure information will be available on-site and on Quinte Conservation’s website.
Once reopened, visitors can enjoy enhanced trails, improved through hazard tree removal, path leveling, and general maintenance. The parking lot will also be graded, and old cedar retaining walls replaced with durable armor stone.
South Potter’s Creek offers a beautiful paved loop trail along the Bay of Quinte, gravel trails in a wooded area, picnic tables, a pollinator meadow, and birdfeeders. Home to songbirds, Osprey, and turtles, the area is open daily from 6 am to 8 pm. Leashed dogs are welcome, and visitors are encouraged to practice leave-no-trace. Parking fees help support these upgrades and regular upkeep. Learn more at QuinteConservation.ca.
