The Lennox and Addington Libraries have announced that its second floor of the Bath branch will be closed from December 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. This decision is due to safety concerns, as the internal staircase is unusable, and icy conditions on the external stairs pose risks during winter.
All library programs will take place on the lower level, where part of the Juvenile Collection will also be relocated. Other second-floor materials will remain inaccessible during the closure.
Library officials apologize for the inconvenience and encourage patrons to visit the lower level for services and collections during this time.
