The Napanee Raiders Teddy Bear Toss is support of the Morningstar Mission is back for another season!
Team GM Adam Bramburger shared with myFM they’ve been doing the Teddy Bear Toss for as long as he can remember.
Defensemen and Napanee’s own Luke Jarmin and Ethan Boutilier shared what it means to them to play in this game.
Bramburger said the players are a bit competitive, all wanting to get that first goal that signals it’s time for the bears to start raining down on the ice.
Aside from the Teddy Bears, they will also be accepting non-perishable food items at the door, which will be donated to the Morningstar Mission.
This year’s Teddy Bear Toss will take place during their home game this Friday, December 6th when the Trent Hills Thunder will be in town. Puck drop at 7:30pm.
You can also see the Napanee Raiders this Saturday in the Greater Napanee Parade of Lights. Again this year, they’ll be walking with the 88.7 myFM Community Cruiser. This year’s parade begins at 5:30pm departing from the Napanee Fairgrounds.
