Thursday night the Napanee Raiders made their final trip to Picton for the 2024/25 regular season.
Christos Chronis opened the scoring for the Napanee Raiders with Matthew Airhart scoring 38 seconds later for a 2-1 lead at the end of the first. It didn’t take long for the Raiders to score their third of the night, with Reid Lambert scoring 18 seconds into the second period. Late in the period Andrew Carr scored the Raiders fourth of the night followed by Ben White scoring the fifth less than a minute later for a 5-0 lead. With less than 5-minutes left in the third period, Picton scored their first goal of the night on a power play for a 5-1 final.
The Napanee Raiders have jumped to second place in the East Tod Division standings with a 22-7-1-1 record and 46 points. The Raiders sit behind Frankford (25-7 record and 50 points), and are tied with Picton (22-9-1-1 record and 46 points).
The Raiders are back in action Friday, January 17th, when the Raiders host Lakefield at 7:30pm. Then on Sunday, January 19th, the Raiders head to Port Hope for an afternoon game at 1:30pm.
