Lennox and Addington County Council has approved funding for the 30th annual Newburgh Canal Bash, set for February 15, 2025, at the Newburgh Conservation Area.
At its January 15 meeting, Council reviewed the Naturally L&A Activation Program, which provides $40,000 for tourism events across the County. Funds are divided equally among Stone Mills Township, Loyalist Township, Greater Napanee, and Addington Highlands, with up to $4,000 available per project. An additional 25 per cent, up to $1,000, is available for digital marketing.
Council approved a $2,500 contribution to the Newburgh Canal Bash, along with $625 for online promotion, for a total of $3,125.
