A 34-year-old man from Loyalist Township faces multiple charges after a two-vehicle crash in South Frontenac Township led to a dramatic police search.
Ontario Provincial Police say the collision happened on Road 38 around 8 p.m. on January 23, 2025. Two people from one vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the second vehicle fled on foot.
A joint effort by the OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Canine Unit, Kingston Police, and Kingston Police Canine Unit led to the suspect’s arrest.
The accused, Andrew Seguin, is charged with dangerous driving, five counts of driving while prohibited, possession of psilocybin, failing to stop at an accident, and several other offences.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing in Kingston on January 24. His licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded.
