Lennox and Addington County OPP charged two drivers with impaired driving in separate incidents over the weekend.
The first incident happened on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 3:30 a.m., when police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Old Highway 2 in Tyendinaga Township after receiving a crash notification from a cell phone. The driver, Logan Crossen, 25, of Deseronto, suffered minor injuries and was charged with impaired driving, driving over 80 mgs, and dangerous operation.
The second incident occurred at 7:00 a.m. the same day, when police found a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of Highway 401 in Greater Napanee. The driver, Kelly Johnson, 40, of Mississauga, was charged with impaired driving and driving over 80 mgs.
Both drivers were released with court dates in February 2025. Their licences were suspended for 90 days, and their vehicles were impounded.
