The Ontario Liberal Party has chosen Lynn Rigby as its candidate for Hastings—Lennox and Addington in the upcoming provincial election on February 27.
Rigby, a longtime resident and family farm owner in Stone Mills, brings years of experience as a specialized hospital physiotherapist in Kingston. She says her background in healthcare, agriculture, and family life makes her the right choice to represent rural Ontario at Queen’s Park.
Her priorities include better roads and bridges, safer schools, more support for teachers, and stronger funding for farmers. She also wants improved healthcare access and believes Ontarians deserve better value for their tax dollars.
A widow and mother of three, including a son in the military, Rigby says she understands the challenges of raising a family in the region.
Ontario Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie calls Rigby a strong advocate who will fight for real change.
“I’m humbled to have the opportunity to represent my friends, family, and all the residents of Hastings—Lennox and Addington as the Ontario Liberal Candidate,” said Lynn. “I look forward to representing this wonderful riding I call home, at Queen’s Park. I am committed to working relentlessly with Bonnie Crombie and the Ontario Liberal Party and to be a strong and informed voice for rural Ontario at the Ontario Legislature, while helping to build a brighter future for all Ontarians.”
Also on the ballot so far in H-L&A are Ric Bresee (PC Party of Ontario), Jessica Zielke (Ontario NDP), Mike Holbrook (Green Party of Ontario ) and Derek Sloan (Ontario Party).
