Five candidates are running to represent Hastings-Lennox and Addington in the Ontario general election on February 27.
Incumbent Progressive Conservative MPP Ric Bresee is seeking re-election. He faces Jessica Zielke (NDP), Lynn Rigby (Liberal Party), Mike Holbrook (Green Party), and Derek Sloan (Ontario Party). Candidates have until February 13 to file nomination papers.
Voters can hear from the candidates at two all-candidates meetings: February 18 at Selby Community Hall and February 19 at Flinton Hall, both from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The events will be live-streamed on Facebook.
Advance polls are now open at 24 Advance Ave. in Napanee, Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. In-person advance voting closes on February 26.
