Loyalist Township is developing a Solid Waste Management Master Plan to shape waste management decisions for the next 30 years.
The plan will focus on curbside collection, landfill capacity, waste diversion, upcoming regulations, population growth, costs, and environmental sustainability. Township officials say these factors will play a key role in how waste is managed in the future.
Residents are invited to public consultation sessions on March 4, 2025, to share their thoughts. Details are available on the Engage Loyalist project page.
To encourage participation, those who sign up before March 4 will have a chance to win a FoodCycler or a backyard composter.
