UPDATE: The Limestone District School Board has confirmed that transportation services will resume as normal on Monday, February 24, 2025, after a potential disruption was announced earlier this week.
The dispute between Stock Transportation and its workers has been resolved with a tentative agreement. All school bus routes, including those operated by Stock, will run as scheduled. Services may still be subject to regular weather-related cancellations or delays.

Original Article posted February 20, 2025: Some students in the Limestone District School Board (LDSB) may need to find alternative transportation on Monday, Feb. 24, due to a possible school bus service disruption.
LDSB is warning parents that Stock Transportation, a provider for Tri-Board Transportation, is facing ongoing contract negotiations with its drivers and monitors. If an agreement is not reached, bus and van services operated by Stock could be disrupted across the region and beyond.
Families of affected students will need to arrange their own transportation if service is interrupted. Other bus routes not operated by Stock Transportation will run as usual, except for delays or cancellations caused by weather.
Tri-Board Transportation will notify families directly if their child’s bus is affected. Parents are encouraged to plan ahead in case of disruption.
For updates, families can check the Tri-Board website or contact the school board for further information.
