
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested two people after stopping two stolen vehicles on Highway 401 in Greater Napanee.
On Friday, February 21, 2025, officers spotted two suspicious vehicles traveling eastbound near Highway 41. After confirming they were stolen, police safely stopped a Range Rover at the Odessa Onroute and a Toyota Highlander at the Montreal Street exit in Kingston. A search of the vehicles revealed that the suspects were using two-way radios to communicate.
Robin Virk, 20, of Niagara Falls, and Ron Harding, 48, of Ajax, were arrested and charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, theft of a motor vehicle, possessing an automobile master key, and possession of break-in instruments.
Virk was released on bail and is set to appear in court on March 25, 2025. Harding remained in custody and had a court appearance scheduled for February 24, 2025.
