Major reconstruction is coming to Main Street in Odessa, and residents are invited to share their input at a public open house on March 10, 2025.
The County of Lennox & Addington is planning a full-depth reconstruction of Main Street from West Street to Shane Street, which will include road and storm drainage improvements. Loyalist Township will also upgrade watermains and sanitary sewers during the project. Construction is expected to begin in 2026 and continue over several seasons.
As part of the plan, officials are considering a 3-metre-wide multi-use pathway along the south shoulder of Main Street from Creighton Drive to County Road 6. This addition could mean the loss of south-side street parking.
The public is encouraged to provide feedback on the project and parking options. For more details and updates, visit Engage Loyalist.
