
A 38-year-old driver from North Glengarry Township has been charged with impaired driving following a collision on Highway 401 in Greater Napanee.
On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, around 6 p.m., Lennox and Addington OPP responded to a two-vehicle crash at the County Road 41 eastbound off-ramp. No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred when one vehicle struck another while exiting the highway.
Ashley Burtenshaw, the driver of one of the vehicles, has been charged with operating a vehicle while impaired by alcohol and operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level over 80 mg.
Burtenshaw’s driver’s license was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on March 18, 2025, in Greater Napanee.
