The Napanee Raiders are now one step closer to the Schmalz Cup!
Andrew Carr score first for the Raiders to lead the Thunder 1-0 in the first period. It was a hot start to the second period with Michael Patrick scoring 29-seconds into the period! That was then followed with more goals for the Raiders scored by Erik MacNiel (2) and Andrew Carr. Trent Hills managed to get one past Logan Vale in Net for a 5-1 Raiders lead heading in to the third period where the Raiders scored twice more by Jackson Barnes an affiliated player Theo Lavender. Raiders win 7-1!
The Raiders are 4-0 so far in the playoffs and have swept the Trent Hills Thunder. Looking to the other Tod division matchup’s, Amherstview is 3-0 against Port Hope and Frankford defeated North Kawartha in four games and Lakefield. Frankford and Lakefield will battle in the semifinals. Napanee moves on to play the winner of the Amherstview-Port Hope Series.
