Falling short in her first election, Ontario Liberal Candidate for Hastings-Lennox and Addington Lynn Rigby is looking forward to continuing to advocate for the community.
Rigby finished second in the polls with 29.6% of the vote, 7,782 votes behind MPP Ric Bresee of the PC’s.
She noted that for this very short campaign period, she wished it’d been longer as there was more she would have liked to do. She also criticized the timing of the election as the weather was not ideal for getting out to campaign and vote.
But there were also some positives. Rigby noted that one of the best parts was all of the wonderful people she’d met.
