Despite the loss, Ontario NDP Candidate for Hastings-Lennox and Addington, Jessica Zielke, enjoyed her first election campaign.
Through this short campaign period, she discovered she loves it and is so glad that she ran.
Zielke finished third in the polls with 11.4% of the votes. That’s down from the 19.2% the NDP received in H-L&A the 2022 Provincial Election.
She’s now looking forward to one day running again.
